Sydney Hills District located in the north western part of Sydney are suburbs consisting mostly of low density type family homes that are located in the hilly parts of Sydney. Hence the names like Pennant Hills, West Pennant Hills, Castle Hill, Baulkham Hills, etc.

The homes are established and the district offers good schools, lovely parks, plenty of open space, and a good lifestyle.

The road system is reasonable and is being improved all the time, however the area lacks a good train transport network. Both State Transit and private bus services operate in the Hills. For those people that do not live near a train station or are not on a regular bus route, and do not find it necessary to travel to the Sydney CBD on a regular basis, Sydney Hills District is an excellent place to live.
